Reading List 8/11

Some concern over the iPhone… The touch screen may have a problem that manifests itself in 3-6 months. No telling if this is legit but if so, it could be a real problem.

Dealbreaker has an interesting article on the quantitative arb funds that have taken it on the chin in this market

Adam has a great read on why option premiums are high, and why it may make sense to pay up for protection in this market.

Is “pukification” really a word? - a quick word about remaining unemotional during turbulent times.

David weighs in on fed economic policy. Also a great indepth discussion in the comments section.

It might get old, but it’s always important to remember how taking losses out of discipline will save you in the long run

Interesting world currency index CD. I’m suprised we haven’t seen more products like this being marketed to the general public

You may or may not have seen Cramer’s Meltdown video.  OptionPundit muses whether Cramer is showboating, has lost a lot of money in the liquidity crisis, or if the story really is this bad.

I often add to this during the weekend as I’m catching up on reading so check back from time to time.
