I just cannot see much growth for Burger King. Although they are not going down the toilet there are just other places where you can get the same risk and probably a lot higher return. There just isn't room for growth compared to other fast food restaurants with superior products.

Even so, in the game of buy low and sell high, the complete retracement of the July-August 25% $6.00 bounce might be a more attractive for the Longs. Still Burger King outmoded feed lot & transfat offerings are so Miami 1960-ish, and this is probably going out the window like Woolco-Woolworths.

Chipotle is expanding rapidly, now that consumers have better choices, 3 large national hamberger chains on the same main street is terribly redundant. Mcdonalds has the lions share and BKC - Wendy's compete for the scraps.

In-n-Out and other regional chains are expanding rapidly. These chains are perceived to offer a superior product. They also have fanatical customer loyalty. In-n-Out is expanding to Texas.
Unfortunately, it's privately held...
