Hey Ryan,

Yes, I’ve looked at GFIG in the past. They appear to have a strong business model, but everyone in this industry is being taken out behind the woodshed and shot. A few names like this will survive and when the picture becomes a little clearer I think we can see some astronomical returns. Unfortunately, there is still plenty of risk.

FCStone Group, Inc. (FCSX) has some serious risk management issues despite the fact that the company specializes in helping clients manage their own risk. However, the stock is less than a quarter of its IPO price from last year and should rebound….

Nice piece…I hadn’t ever heard of these guys, and I always like finding new niche financials/biz services names. I have a similar beaten-down little guy in GFI Group that I’ve been following. Similar metrics on C&CE, and their business is being discounted to essentially 0.

Anywho, thanks for covering one of the smaller cap names…not enough of that out there.
