    Hello,
Although from Europe, I listened to yr story about banks and solar companies.

I would like to give some remarks about banks:
-governments should not interfere;should not help banks to go to bankrupt, thus taking money from shareholders;should not help banks to merge or whatever help.
Should not interfere to takeaway money from shareholders, from citizen.
-accounting rules to measure the value of a bank should not being made flexible.
-why are we bringing money to banks to save that for us, while they take it away or lose it. And these banks are unhealthy. The best is to have money in yr socks, in cash or in stocks like:
-my list for monday: NOG,GHM,EWO,RTP, + gamble on ING….
Why do you do not give a buy-and sell list each day?
    best regards, Henk

    Henk,

Thanks so much for the comment. Yes I’m not sure which is more frightening, government bailout capital, or the changing of the accounting rules along the way.

If you’re interested in buy/sell lists you may want to look at the ZachStocks Growth Model. While it does not trade on a daily basis, it gives you a good idea of what I want to be holding day by day.

It looks like you are long tangible plays – or “stuff.” From a long-term perspective I think this will work well with the possibility of sharp inflation looming.

I wish you the best this week!
    Zach
