Nice beat by Tiffany's today, HWD's diavik mine is at full capacity; from speaking with TIF's Treasurer, they purchase a significant number of rough stones from HWD's diavik mine. I see this as a big positive for HWD shares which have rallied from "priced for bankruptcy" and I believe have a great deal higher to run(of which has lagged TIF). I think Tiffany's valuation is rich, and I would be short the stock, but I would add twice the shares of HWD for the hedge.

Do you think the recent pick up in luxary auto sales bodes well for Tiffany's? I have personally met the CFO and Treasurer and they do run a tight ship. I believe that the recent rally in stock prices this year will benefit the high net worth individuals and Tiffany's is the best in the industry at attracting those customers. Thanks for the analysis, in disclosure I own HWD shares going into TIF's earnings.
